Middlebury is one of the few schools in the country that can boast a beautiful 18-hole golf course on campus. The Ralph Myhre Golf Course is owned by Middlebury College, and is the site of all the Panther home golf matches.

Over the past few seasons, the squad has enjoy tremendous success. Last season, the team won the NESCAC Championship, as well as tournaments at Skidmore and Williams. They also placed second among Division III teams at the New England Championships. The NESCAC title was the second for Middlebury after capturing the crown in '99.

The Middlebury golf team begins their season in the fall with the 25-team Duke Nelson Tournament held at the Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury. The rest of the fall season includes 4-5 other tournaments, including the NESCAC Championship which Middlebury hosts every other year. At the end of the fall, the team plays in the ECAC Tournament, with qualifiers heading to the NCAA Regionals and NCAA Tournament later in the year. The team also has a brief spring schedule with 2-3 matches including the New England Division III Championships in late April.

A spring trip has also become a tradition with the golf team as the team enjoys warmer climates and better playing conditions during the school's spring break.
